Even more wiring

Spent most of the christmas break just doing wiring for the engine and gauges and all the fuses are relays needed. Photos show some of the progress, doesn’t look like much but a lot of time went into it. Also finally got the alternator bracket all sorted after much trial and error and a few different sized alternators

Also got a ride in a recently finished Mcgregor around ruapuna, was a great ride and really good to get an idea of what the cars are capable of on the track, with such good handling a grip and for a mazda 1800 it was quick in a straight line too!

Electrics and Gauges

Spent the last few weekends working on the engine electrics, got the loom sorted and all labled and taped where it meets etc, so now got to spend the time making it nice, making a few wires longer adding heat shrink and cable sleeving etc. As you can see from the pictures, also got the gauge cluster positioned after a bit of trimming it fitted, final descision on where it will get fixed will depend on where the seat goes (when  I get it).

Electrical Work has started

Well I have been looking at wiring diagrams for a while, and have worked out what most of it, finally started by striping the loom, brought a soldering iron.. If anyone reading this needs help with beams 3sge wiring just ask a question and I should be able to help..

Here is a picture of a striped loom ready to go, just need to identify more wires at the ECU end, then mount the ecu and work my way from there and extend the loom to suit
